Brooks Tucker

As Assistant Secretary for VA’s Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs (OCLA), Brooks D. Tucker oversees and coordinates the Department’s activities with Members of Congress and committees of jurisdiction, maintaining responsive and effective communications with Congress.

Before being tapped as Assistant Secretary for VA’s Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs, Tucker was a United States Marine Corps Infantry Officer for 25 years, serving all over the world. Upon leaving the Military, Tucker continued to serve, holding positions such as Senior Advisor in the United States Senate, Senior Advisor to the Dept. of Veterans Affairs, and Policy Advisor for the Presidential Transition Team.
