HillVets Foundation Announces Dallas Atkinson as Executive Director
WASHINGTON, D.C. — HillVets Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Dallas Atkinson as its new Executive Director, marking an exciting new chapter in the organization's mission to empower veterans, service members, military spouses, survivors, and supporters pursuing continued service through government, public policy, and civic leadership.
Over the past two years, Atkinson has played a pivotal role in advancing HillVets Foundation's impact and reach. Her leadership has helped expand fellowship placements, strengthen strategic partnerships, grow flagship programs, increase philanthropic support, and create new opportunities for military-connected individuals seeking to serve beyond the uniform.
As Executive Director, Atkinson will lead the Foundation's efforts to further expand access to public service pathways, strengthen bipartisan engagement, and ensure that military-connected leaders have a voice in shaping the policies that impact their communities and the nation.
“Dallas represents the very best of the military spouse community through principled leadership and bipartisan impact on Capitol Hill,” said Congressman Jack Bergman, Lieutenant General, U.S. Marine Corps, Retired. “Her commitment to service and her ability to bring people together have made a lasting difference for the HillVets community and the future leaders it supports.”
HillVets Founder Justin Brown praised Atkinson's leadership and vision for the organization’s future.
“Dallas has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the HillVets mission and the military-connected community we serve,” said Brown. “She is a trusted leader, a proven builder of partnerships, and a passionate advocate for creating opportunities for others. I am confident that under her leadership, HillVets will continue to grow its impact and strengthen pathways to public service for the next generation of leaders.”
The appointment reflects HillVets Foundation's continued commitment to fostering leadership, building meaningful connections across sectors, and ensuring that those who have served—or supported service—have opportunities to continue making a difference in government and public policy.
