Ali McGuire

Legislative Assistant to United States Senator Mike Enzi

Alison McGuire is a Legislative Assistant to United States Senator Mike Enzi of Wyoming.  She joined the Senator’s staff in August 2015, and advises him on issues related to national defense, Veterans’ affairs, energy, judiciary and Indian affairs.  Previously, McGuire served in the Navy’s Office of General Counsel, litigating acquisition suspension and debarment proceedings, and advising federal investigators from multiple agencies on procurement fraud cases.  She served for four years as an active duty Air Force Judge Advocate, and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.


McGuire is a native of Cheyenne, Wyoming.  She is a 2003 graduate of the University of Wyoming and 2010 graduate of the William & Mary College of Law.  She began her career in politics working as a Press Secretary and Legislative Assistant to U.S. Representative Barbara Cubin (R-WY) from 2003 to 2007.  She lives in Alexandria with her husband, a United States Marine Corps infantry officer.
