After opening their doors for business on September 11, 2011, 10 short years after our country changed forever, Mission BBQ founders, Bill Kraus and Steve Newton, wanted to remind everyone what makes our country great; Our Heroes. These founders are two friends with Military ties and are passionate about BBQ, patriotic for our country, and believe in running a business with meaning and purpose. Since their opening, they have expanded to over 45 locations throughout the United States.

Bill Kraus and Steve Newton make it a priority to shut down the restaurant every day at noon to make an announcement and play the national anthem. Along with their focus in hiring Military Veterans, they give a significant portion of their profits back to the community and support 200+ local organizations.
