Francis Hoang

Francis Hoang currently serves as Chief Strategy Officer of Momentum Aviation Group a privately held, private-equity backed company that operates planes, helicopters, and UAV’s that provide and enable real time situational awareness to government, international, and commercial customers. He is also a Partner at Fluet Huber + Hoang,  a values-based law firm focused on middle market companies with a nexus to international trade, defense, and national security.


Mr. Hoang has previously served in every branch of government: as law clerk to the Senate Judiciary Committee, a US Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit clerkship, and was appointed by President George W. Bush as an Associate White House Counsel and Special Assistant to the President in 2007. An Army Veteran, he mobilized in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as the Executive Officer of a US Army Special Forces Company in Southeast Afghanistan in 2009.


Mr. Hoang graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University Law Center, received a Masters in Criminal Justice from Washburn University, and was among the top of his class at West Point. He has also passed both Ranger School and the CPA Exam. He was born in Saigon, Vietnam, immigrated to the United States at the age of 2, and was raised in Tumwater, Washington.
